THE DEBUT SELF-TITLED EP
THE VIOLUTION
The Violution EP has arrived and is now available for purchase in our Shop as a double-disc set with CD, Bonus DVD, and booklet insert with beautiful images from our favorite photographer Tolga Katas!
Included on the EP is JLynn's popular arrangement and newly mixed and mastered version of "Toxicity" by System of a Down, a haunting rendition of "Call Me When you're Sober" by Evanescence, an 'insane' version of "Almost Easy" by Avenged Sevenfold, what producers consider a novelty track, Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" like you've never heard it before, and the fifth track, an innovative original track in collaboration with Japanese composer, Hajime Uchiyama, "On the Run".
With over ten years of performing credits with big music giants such as Aerosmith, Journey, Foo Fighters, Ariana Grande, Kanye West, and Adele, to name a few, JLynn, creator of The Violution, fuses rock metal and classical along with fashion and beauty to deliver exciting and explosive performances both aurally and visually.
Recorded at Grammy award-winning Steve Vai's legendary Mothership Studios, what sets this album apart
from any other is that there are NO guitars to be found anywhere on the record.
One may think what they hear to be rhythm guitars, but these are all sounds created from our leading lady's electric violin with guitar amps and FX pedals--what The Violution calls "Vtars". In addition to performing and recording the original guitar solos on her electric violin, JLYNN then elaborates upon each track by adding
her own expressive solos.
Featured on drums is Glen Sobel from Alice Cooper as well as our Producer
Patrick Caccia (Steve Vai, Eric Sardinas), and on electric bass, Marty O'Brien (Daughtry, Lita Ford).
